Uh-OATH: No license renewal until summonses are paid

Starting June 5th, if you have any summonses with the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings (OATH), you will not be able to renew your license.

Do you have an upcoming license renewal? Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Research any outstanding penalties that you may have.
  2. Pay them, or contact the experts at Outsource Consultants, Inc., to determine your eligibility for potential corrections or dismissals.
  3. Log into DOB NOW: BIS Options.
  4. Select license renewal to renew your license.

For questions and technical issues contact OATH directly for further assistance via the OATH website or by calling (212) 436-0845.

For details on this newly enacted restriction, see Section 1049-b on page 217 of the New York City Charter.
